HLAC 1096 – Lifelong Wellness Application Paper
Write a paragraph on each of the following:
1. What did you learn about “lifelong wellness” from taking this activity class?
I learned about how important fitness and wellness is in my daily life. I never really took a close look at my eating habits and physical activity until I took this class. It taught me to be more aware about being healthy. There are so many health risks that I never knew about until I took this class. It taught me what lifelong wellness is and how important it is in our daily lives. Stress management was also something great I learned about. I also like learning about all the different muscles and improving strength.
2. How would you apply this information to your life?
I am going to use what I have learned and apply it to my life by staying healthy and in good shape. I am going to maintain a regular scheduleof physical activities. I am going to make better eating choices. I will remember what I learned about health risks. I will try to apply this information by teaching others the same things I have learned. I am going to use what I learned to improve my muscular strength and endurance. I am going to use the stress management skills in my daily life.
3. What is your intention to continue to exercise in your life and why?
My intention is to continue working on my health each day. I think it is important to keep eating healthy and staying physically active. There are so many health risks I learned about due to poor eating and exercising choices.I want to reduce my risks of health problems in the future. I like how it makes me feel when I am active. I get better rest when I exercise. I am able to think more clearly during the day I have noticed. I have been in really good shape the last few months and I don’t want to go back to where I started.
4. General ideas for improving this course?
I think this course was set-up just right. I do not have any ideas to improve it.
